A new trend that is catching on like wildfire is feather extensions!  The feathers are placed in the hair with a metal clip and can easily be changed out.  The process is not damaging to the hair and you can get extensions for as little as $20 (prices vary based on feather type, amount, and salon).  Ask your local salon if they are participating!  The extensions can be treated like your normal hair; shampoo, blow dry, curl, etc. They last up to three months.
