Tuesday Tip!

There are certain techniques to applying blush to make it look natural.  I like using an angled brush, like the Mac 168 for powder blush and my fingers for cream blush.  Look into the mirror and smile.  Your angle should start at the center of the cheek bone at the apple of your cheeks (the part that puffs when you smile) and extend upwards below the temple.  When applying cream blush, place three small dots on the same angle evenly spaced apart and blend in a circular motion with your fingers. Brush a small amount on your nose and forehead for a glowing summer look.

For a different approach, apply a small amount to the apple of the cheek and blend out in a circular motion.  This technique yields more of a blushing look.
